    Audio coming from both Headphone and Speakers when headphone used!!


    Hello Guys, had this problem while,tried many of the solutions to resolve and failed,finally reset the system to factory settings thinking things will be back to normal,but still it exists!!

    *Asus g74sx- windows 7 ultimate,Realtek Hd audio.

    Just saw the new Realtek Hd audio driver release ,not updated yet,awaiting for your kind advise and suggestion.thanks.

    thought here; have you checked all the settings to make sure the proper headphone/speaker settings are checked/unchecked?. i would consider updating to that newest driver. If it does not solve the issue you should be able to restore it back to the previous restore point which should undo the driver update.

    thank's Matt,just installed the new driver and tried again ,still problem exists.Regarding restore point,i restored the system to factory settings!!!

    If this is compatible with your laptop I'd try this Sound still coming out from speakers with headphones plugged in - Page 3

    That sucks seems like it's common with that hardware and realtek or asus needs to look into it.

    Not sure what you might have tried to solve it but just in case see the pic and if you open Realtek HD Audio Manager in Control Panel then click on the yellow folder icon as shown in the pic and untick Disable Front Panel Detection it might help

    Thanks,unfortunately realtek user interface is not showing at all,i can see the drivers installed in add or remove program,before i set the system to factory settings,it does showed the realtek interface even that time the interface doesn't looked like yours,it just had the basic options .
