    Should I or shouldn't I?

Having installed Windows 7 and hooked in my Creative FPS2000 speakers, I have perfectly acceptable sound for my needs. I have a Gigabyte P55 UD5 mobo.
Prior to the upgrade I used the Creative Audigy 2ZS box and card for sound.
From the sound viewpoint I don't need to use it now but the Audigy box provided convenient plug in points for a microphone, audio inputs, my video camera's Firewire connections or headphones (giving me a volume control for the 'phones). However if adding the Audigy hardware to the mix is likely to cause problems there are alternatives for all the connections I need on the mobo - they are just a bit inconveniently placed.
Hence the question - should I or shouldn't I install the Audigy hardware?

Well said Ken. And I had to laugh out loud when I read your post.

I think it's interesting that the more experienced users of Creative products will eventually all come to the same conclusion.
