Sound crackling/popping

    Another thing to consider trying is; completely uninstalling the sound card listed in system devices in the device manager; rebooting; letting windows re-detect and reinstall the drivers for the sound card; then go to the sound card manufacturers site and see if there are any updated drivers for your card and download and install them and see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes i believe what can happen is for one reason or another; something within windows will "Corrupt" the audio drivers which can possibly cause the issue you are having. Give this a shot and report back if it doesnt and we can try and go from there.

    I have tried both, deleting realtek drivers and let windows download them back, and also manually download from realtek website.

    Here is two sound recordings. Using speakers, not headset and problem still exist.

    In this video I only change volume, but i keep it on and wont turn off at all. Using some low sound and bass turned to low.

    Try connecting your front panel audio and plugging into that with the headphones.

    OK well I'm out of suggestions unfortunately. Unless there's a resource or virus issue. Which is highly unlikely as you said this moved from the previous machine to this new rig with only those two components transferred....so I think it's one of those two components which is causing the issue.

    Strange, I tried my old computer (bought some cheap GPU and RAM) and it still has same crackling problem, and my new built system has it also? Also bought new GPU to this new computer, only RAM exists from old computer, but that shouldnt be the problem because got new ram for old computer and its still crackling.

    What the hell.



    What is that CPU throttling? how I can disable it?

    Ok made new test with latencymon when I was playing and using mumble
