VIA HD Audio Deck - Thinks my headphones are a mic, can't change

(image does not seem to be displaying, here is a direct link)
Line in should be a set of headphones, not a headset.
No idea how to change it to headphones, it's just saying it is a recording device.

Line In is an INPUT not and output for headphones (headset). Line in is a stereo input, where the mic is only monaural (one channel).

Headphones should not be connected to an input such as the Line In.

Please fill in the "My System Specs". Not knowing what your PC is, all we can do is guess or offer general suggestions.
