Stereo Mix (VIA HD Audio) No longer working, won't transfer sound.

So I just got Speakers this Christmas (2015), and I set them up, took about 3 hours to finally get them working from watching many youtube videos. Basically I set it up so I can have lets say Music playing through my headphones and my speakers at the same time. All of this is possible through the Stereo mix.

How I have it setup as of then (when it was working):

    • Speakers is Default Device
    • Headphone is Ready
    • Microphone is Default Device
    • Stereo Mix is Ready

The Stereo mix options are as follows (I watched youtube video and got this to work perfectly):

    • [Check] Listen to this Device
    • Playback Through this Device: Headphone

And now (today), the Stereo mix is no longer working, listening to the speaker then to transfer that sound to the Microphone from the Stereo mix, so basically I can't listen to any application that takes sound to the speaker, and have the sound go to my headphones.

This is a Big problem cause I like to play music and talk on Skype and have that sound go to headphones then have my video-game sound playing through my speakers.

Recently, I updated something to do with Microsoft Visual C++ and .NET Framework, I don't know when my Stereo mix stopped working, but I know that after I installed both of them it stopped working (no evidence of these being the cause, but it could be).

I AM SORRY IF ALL THIS IS CONFUSING, I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE :|

In RealTek, there is an option to have the speakers still work when a headset is plugged in. It has nothing to do with Stereo Mix (which is for Recording).

I don't know what type of control panel VIA has but look for a panel, probably in the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound.

Ok, well I didn't get much from your post but thanks anyways, currently i'm downloading an Update for my Sound Card/Driver, and hopefully that may add/fix some things.
