Nvida 347.25 Removes HDMI Audio Device

Changing PCIe slots did nothing, and trying to see if the option exists under a newly created profile on my system yielded no results either. As I expected, Nvidia tech support says to just reformat my machine and hope for the best. The windows audio service is starting and running as expected... all Nvidia high definition audio devices under sound, video and game controllers are working properly. Scouring the internet leads me to believe this is a rare problem as I have found similar threads of unresolved issues dating pretty far back but no actual solutions.

Unfortunately I do not own a second PC that can accept this graphics card but if it will really tell me anything about the situation I can find a friend. Thanks to everyone taking the time to read and respond in this thread.

I would try to find a friend to test card in his system then if same problem in his then I would have to think card is faulty.

I'll give it a shot but I find it hard to believe that the HDMI chip could have possibly died and I would still be getting video. Given the nature of electronics I suppose there wouldn't be any graceful degradation before failure.
