Nvida 347.25 Removes HDMI Audio Device

OS: Win 7 x64 Pro Mobo: Asus P8P67 Deluxe (LGA1155) GPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti (rolled back to 347.09 at present) I have never had any issues with respect to HDMI audio on my TV before with my present hardware configuration. After performing the express installation for the 347.25 update, my TV no longer appears as an audio device. It is not "unplugged" or "disabled," it is simply no longer appears as an option but is still recognized for video. I have attempted the ancient tactics of rebooting, unplugging and plugging the TV back in, rolling back my drivers and doing a clean installation to no avail. Please can anyone help me?!

i would suggest trying a restore point before the issue started.

I did not have this issue but I am using a GTX 750Ti . I also use that DDU program so I can install a fresh Video Driver.

Unfortunately I have system restore turned off so that is not an option.

one thing you could check is default play back device is set to the correct thing.

Well; if i were you i would re-enable it; as it does help solve driver issues, etc. at times by enabling you to go back to a point before issues started. So I would re-enable it.

I cannot select it as a default device as it is completely removed from the playback devices menu. Also to update, I have removed the HD audio driver from 347.09, cleaned the registry, and performed another clean install (rebooting along the way), which has not helped at all.

Update: I attempted disabling my motherboard audio (through BIOS) and reinstalling the Nvidia drivers but this did not force an HDMI audio device to appear. The HDTV that is connected via HDMI to my GeForce 560 Ti does display video however, and does show up under the Nvidia control panel as an audio device. Also per Nvidia's suggestion I made my HDTV my primary monitor (and even removed my DVI monitor) but with similar results.

The best I can do is try it in my other PCI slot and see what happens. Will post results.
