    Realtek HD


    I have recentley installed windows 7 but my soundcard wouldnt work, after visiting realteks site for latest driver and installing them my audio worked, the problem i find i have now is that when i start my pc its loading the wrong driver for it, i have gone into auto update and turned off the driver loading setting but it still loads the wrong driver from the operating sysem. Can anyone help. Thanx

    mate i need help i have asrock n68-s and ati graphic car i cannot hear no sound, i went to realtek site went everywhere there no sound!

    Try one of these updated drivers from realtek site -
    Realtek
    it worked fine for my card but windows ket installing its own driver for it every time i shut down,have sorted that now,if it works, turn off driver update setting in windows auto update as will do same as mine did. good luck, will keep checking on your prgress.

    Post #3 Have you tried installing the drivers from Asrock Since it is a VIA hd sound. ASRock > Products > Motherboard > N68-S > Download

    yep tried that i even tried vista drivers all teh drivers on realtek, updated my bios lol dont know wats rong, i remeber sumehow they were workin but wen i downloaded lastest drivers for windows 7 off the site u just told me i never herd audio agen lol

    in your last post you said you think it worked for a while - had you just installed win 7 ? if it worked after just installing win 7 try rolling back drivers, if this doesnt work uninstall drivers then just restart and let windows load a driver or even try auto update for driver, you could try asrocks site but if like asus site - there pretty slow at updating stuff.

    you could try driver cleaner pro to remove other drivers that maybe overwriting the one you want OS to use...
