PC's Microphone will not hold setting

    PC's Microphone will not hold setting


    I can adjust the microphone volume in "Microphone Properties" and within ten-seconds or so, the volume jumps back to 0. Cannot speak with anyone on Google or Skype.

    No system specs so all we can do is talk generalities.

    Have you reinstalled the sound driver?

    Whoa, I spoke too soon, issue still there. System is Win7 Pro, 64 bit Qosmio, PC's built-in mic.
