    Docking station no sound

My desktop speakers worked plugged into the Dell docking station using VISTA. Now, unless it's a total coincidence, when I installed Windows 7, the sound only comes through the laptop speakers --- unless I plug them directly into the laptop, then they work.

Dell Latitude D830 with Dell Doc that came with it.

    Any known issues or ideas???

    Thanks

Probably just needs the correct driver installed for the dock.

    Docking station and sounds

Yep, you (and others) were right - installed the Vista driver and it worked.

    Thanks

I am having the same problem with my docking station since installing Win 7. I downloaded the driver from the Dell website (sigmatel Audio) but when I try to install it I get an error that says this is not the correct audio driver for this system. This is the only audio driver available from Dell for my D620. Any ideas?
