Microphone Volume is quiet, even at maximum volume

So I recently moved my microphone/headset plugs to the rear jacks of my computer, the reason I did this was because when plugged in to the front jacks, my microphone had a white noise I couldn't get rid of, the rear jacks doesn't have this issue, but my mic volume is quiet

I think it might be a driver issue? I know its not my mic because when plugged in the front, people can hear my voice fine but there's just static noise too, and it's sort of loud

More PC info is needed. Including what sound and sound driver you have.

The front panel jacks are just an extension of the sound jacks. Usually if there is problem, the front do not work correctly but the read does. Are you plugging the mic into the correct Pink jack? If it were plugged into the wrong jack that can happen.

They are plugged into the right jacks at the back

What do you mean what sound/driver do I have? Like, what specifically are you asking for and how do I find it

You can download and run the free Speccy. It will profile your PC. If this is a factory built PC, what is the Manufacturer and Model Number?

Sorry for the late reply, my computer is custom built so that's why I think the issue could be a missing driver(s)

Would you still like my speccy information?
