| | just installed this new driver R238 on my windows 7 (x86) i hav a built in realtek ALC880 chip....my sound cracks like hell when the volume is set @ full. But the thing is there is usually 2 entry in device manager. One under Sound video game controller (High definition Audio Device) and the other one is under system device (High definition Audio controller) . after the r238 driver install only the 1st one gets updated but the 2nd 1 stays the same ((High definition Audio controller) 6.1.7600.16385 ... yes its the 1 dat comes with windows 7. so why the installer is not updating the 2nd entry (High definition Audio controller)???? and is there any WHQL realtek DRIVER available for Windows 7?? sori 4 being desperate.  |
