Realteks FTP site is clearly unable to cope with user demand. They must be amongst the worst bandwidth cheapskates on the planet!
Have spent hours, over many days, attempting to download several updated drivers
from them, either without success connecting whatsoever - or the download starts, but then reduces to something in the order of 550 bytes per second, and predictably then fails.
Gigabyte, on the other hand, are months behind on adding up to date driver
support, which is a pity since their download site works far better than Realteks.
I'm watching the R239 audio drivers zip file right now. It began at 29Kbps (already hardly what you'd call that good...)
with Opera estimating the download at circa 19 minutes... but things quickly deteriorate to below 2Kbps and Opera's displaying an estimated completion time of well over six hours...
