Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

I hope I can use my audio again...:)

My audio's good again but with a little bit of crackles and pops now and then...

Still not the same as vista for me, i installed the new drivers on my vista partition too and it isnt the same and i dont know what version of the drivers came with the laptop but i want them back the sound was great.

Speaker fill working now ?

Im to lazy to try out this new driver coz my creative card works better anyway. Bit better sound and no eax tho.

And how bout microphone is it working ok now ?

I still don't even have button to select "speaker"fill"....

just installed this new driver R238 on my windows 7 (x86)

i hav a built in realtek ALC880 chip....my sound cracks like hell when the volume is set @ full.

But the thing is there is usually 2 entry in device manager.

One under Sound video game controller (High definition Audio Device) and the other one is under system device (High definition Audio controller) .

after the r238 driver install only the 1st one gets updated but the 2nd 1 stays the same ((High definition Audio controller) 6.1.7600.16385 ... yes its the 1 dat comes with windows 7.

so why the installer is not updating the 2nd entry (High definition Audio controller)????

and is there any WHQL realtek DRIVER available for Windows 7??

sori 4 being desperate.

I've tried r237 and r238 but the top-right advanced settings just don't show up.
