this is nothing - go look at the similar thread at Vistax64 for last year. I built my machine at the end of May, and from that point they released a new update almost like clockwork every 2 weeks....
Hi guys :)
is it enough for your computer to install driver R.2.21 to use front audio jack ?
Cuz i cannot use it...The problem is that ; Realtek Manager doesnt detect front jack even.
i used to use it before Windows7...After it i couldnt and i tried to rebuilt the computers connection cables.Still i cannot use the front jack.
is there something i can try ?
Hey guys, I have an issue for you.
I have installed Seven 7068 on a friend's mobo Asus M2V. Everything runs fine except the sound.
Guess what: i install the driver flawlessly, got sound, but if I turn off/on, then the sound dissapear. No issue if I just restart, the sound is lacking only when turning off and on. Mind the driver remains working and seems to be present, it is just the sound that does not out.
Any idea?

(I have created my own topic for the issue Sound dissapear when turn OFF/ON on Realtek so my posts in here can be deleted)

Guys, I have an old HP Zv5000, and I just installed 7 beta 7077..Like many of you I am having the Realtek Audio problem..I tried downloading the latest from realtek..It downloads and asks me to reboot..I do this..then when the laptop reboots, it says could not install realtek audio 97 driver....Also I realize that if I go into control panel, I see something from Soundmax..do any of you have any alternate ideas? This is getting annoying and I just may go back to Vista Ultimate..I had sound there..BTW this 7077 build works terrific other than the AERO affect..I have an ATI 9000 on here..but oh well..Thanks for the input!
All the download links on that Taiwanese site are sooo slow (1, 2, 3, and express). I was getting 20kB/s on a 4mbps connection in MA, US.
So I did a bit of google and this one gives much better speed, close to my limit:

New Realtek HD Audio driver 2.22 version released 4/21/2009. See first post for more details. :)
