The last suggestion is one you don't want to hear. A complete reinstall. Because of the BSOD and other things you've done the OS may be corrupt and unfortunately the only way to clear that is to do a "clean" reinstall (reformat the hard drive and reinstall everything). With a complete reinstall the on-board will probably work OK.
I don't like to suggest a reinstall, but that is the "last resort".
Well thankfully i have only been using the pc for about 2 days so i will only have to re download a few things :) could you explain who i would do a complete reinstall please? its something i have never done before ans i assume it could go fairly wrong.. haha. Also will i still be able to use my copy of windows 7 i got or will i need to buy another copy? :/
That just tells me to install not how to uninstall doesn't it?
When you do a clean install, there is nothing to uninstall. Part of the clean install is to reformat the hard drive and when you do that it wipes it clean.
Oh i see mate, ill do it tonight when ive stopped the PC :) just one question - it tells me to boot from USB, does this mean i plug my USB with windows 7 on it into the PC and then turn it on? won't it just start my copy of windows 7 that is already installed?
If your Windows install copy is on USB then boot from USB. If its on a disc, then you boot from the disc.
