First step, get the correct sound hardware driver (if available). You show you have/had "High Defintion Audio Device" which is the generic, basic function, Windows installed sound driver. The correct sound driver from the PC vendor or motherboard if its a custom build will usually fix this.

If there is no hardware sound driver available, Uninstall the High Definition Audio Device in the Device Manager and then restart the PC. When Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the High Definition Audio drivers again.

Uninstall the sound, reboot the PC BUT enter the BIOS and disable the sound. Let Windows start and then reboot again BUT enable the sound in the BIOS and then start Windows and see if it detects it.

That Digital Audio S/PDIF High Def Audio device you see in the properties is a digital only device. It requires the use of a special fiber optic cable or BNC type cable and should only be plugged in if you are connecting to a digital HD amplifier or similar device. You should not be using that with regular audio cable, but I'll say you need to check where you are plugging in on the back of your computer before wasting anymore time on the driver and configuratin from device manager.
