I'm posting it because i believe it may help other people. I have an old Creative Sound Blaster Vibra 128 PCI Sound Card and I've recentelly installed Windows 7 on my PC (formerly I had XP). Well, Creative, in its site, says the sound card is discontinued and there is no driver
for Vista or 7.
After much searching, I gave up finding a driver. But then i tried the stand-alone driver for Sound Blaster PCI 128 for XP (Creative Worldwide Support
) and it worked! Sound is just fine!
For people with discontinued sound cards, maybe this solution will help. The drivers
I've tried exclusively for Vibra 128 haven't worked. A generic sound card driver may work, as it did for me.
