Windows 7: Sigmatel Audio - No 'Wave Out/Stereo Mix' option

Windows 10 Pro x64 x2 Windows 10 Enterprise x64, Ubuntu

Th latest drivers for your laptop I can find are here ....

Sony eSupport - VGN-SZ320P - Software Updates & Drivers

These are vista drivers and I assume these are the ones you are using.

If you check on sound Playback devices and right click and show disabled options - hopefully they will show the What you hear or simlar

If the drivers do not have this functionality the only option I can suggest is to see if SoundMAX have any drivers directly for the actual chip

Windows 7 Ultimate (32 and 64 bit)

Hi Barman58, I recently updated the sound drivers with the latest Vista drivers, and still I have no stereo mix. I will try SoundMAX drivers and post up the results.

Thanks so much! That trick worked great on my Acer! I did quite a lot of searching before finding your answer, I am surprised how many people have no clue about this.

Thanks again!
