Sound Not Working; Playing Music/Videos Freezes Keyboard and Mouse

    Updated the audio driver from the Gigabyte site and sound and everything is working A-OK as far as I can tell.

    Good. If you are lucky that fixed it, however with the symptoms I don't think that it will "stay"

My audio on my laptop is dragging when i am playing music or music videos on it or any videos for that matter. What do i need to do? Is there maybe something i need to download to make the audio play better? Please help!:(
Hi everyone, complete novice at this but here goes! I am having a problem where the sound on WMP is fine when listening to music tracks but there is no sound when watching videos. Strangely mpeg4 files do have sound. All videos play ok but with no sound. Sorry if this has been asked before...
