Windows 7 Surround Sound using Incorrect Speaker Channels

I just setup my audio system and after switching to 5.1 surround Windows correctly plays my front left, center, front right, surround right and subwoofer but for the surround left the sound comes from the front left speaker. What's weird is if I switch to stereo and play audio I can hear sound coming from all my speakers (including the surround left.)

Any ideas on how to fix this? Could it be a driver issue?

Edit: The surround right speaker is also being redirected to the front left speaker.
