Windows 7 x64
Windows 7 digital sounds (silent)

I am having problem getting digital audio output to work on my Win 7 x64, tried the MSI-Creative x-fi xtreme audio pci-e, analogue works, but not spdif, the Creative x-fi titanium pci-e which gave the same result and the SB Audigy 2 ZS, which also gave the same results, analogue works perfectly while digital output produces no sound.

The S/C is hooked to the Creative Inspire 5.1 DTT5700, which is still kicking for me.

With the 2 x-fi's, I hooked it up from the spdif output to the receiver's spdif input, installed K-lite codecs, silent, removed and installed shark007 codecs, and again, silence while on digital.

Installed creative drivers, didn't work, uninstalled and use a modded creative drivers (daniel_k), and still didn't work. Tried both for the Audigy 2 and the x-fi's.

I need some help to narrow down the problem, do I need to change any kind of settings in Win 7 x64? or does the problem lies with the mobo. there is no settings in bios to turn on digital output

Do note that the problem lies only in digital output, analogue works fine.
