Hi...I"ve loaded Windows 7 and now am not able to record with it...I've loaded and updated allmy drivers that I can think of...but the option for What You Hear does not come up...I've checked show disabled devices as well and still nothing...Can someone help me with this...thanks...I've got an Asus Mother board with onboard sound or a Sound Blaster Xfi Xtreme sound card.

Why do you want that function?

I only ask because when you say, I guarantee I'll show you a better way to do what you want and tell you why too.

That's a different thing than I thought you were going to say. So ya, you'll need a record-what-you-hear or stereo mix settings. In recording devices, right click and enable disconnected and also disabled devices. See if something shows up.

I don't know which offhand because I forget the names, but there are apps that can capture the stream straight to HDD instead.

There are some here.

I don't understand what you mean by the term "spin." Perhaps clarify a little, please?
