HT Omega Striker 7.1 Master Volume Not Working
When I'm playing music on my HT Omega Striker 7.1 using a digital cable, and I mute the sound, using the Master Windows mute button, the music still plays out the two front speakers. I'm referring to the master mute button available when you open the Volume Mixer in Windows or as a hotkey on some keyboards.
All the Master Windows mute button appears to do is disable sound out of the back, center and subwoofer speakers, but not the front speakers. I've seen this behavior in Vista and Windows 7, in multiple applications, and regardless of whether the output is set to DTS or Dolby Digital. Any ideas?
