Try to install the driver again like before, in safe mode.

Only this time, turn off the machine when done in safe mode for a minute or two.

Then try to boot to normal Windows. Go to start menu, type services.msc, hit enter.

Look at Windows Audio, Windows Audio Endpoint Builder

services are set to auto and started.

Thanks again for the help. I tried your recommendations and am still not receiving any audio. Both Audio listings in my Services are Started and Automatic.

I just installed windows 7 32 bit on my Dell latitude D810 yesterday. I came up with the same problem as the other gentleman. I was happy i found your post. I had absolutely no problem installing this driver. As soon as it quickly installed i had sound. I know this was approximately posted 3 years ago. But, i just wanted to say thank you very very much. :)

"No Audio Output Device is installed"

    Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion dv6000. When Windows 7 was installed my audio and cd player/burner no longer work. In my "device manager" folder, under "other devices" have 3 yellow triangles with an ! mark...they are "base system device", "base system devise", and "coprocessor" are these the cause of it not working? When trying to update them no driver software is found.

Can anyone help me get my computer working correctly???

Thanks for your help and time!

    Going back to Vista.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you. There is no way to revert back to vista online. However, here is what i found on the microsoft website.

    How to uninstall Windows 7

Just find what applies to you. If you installed 7 over vista, there should have been a folder created with all of your vista things. Just read that and follow the directions. I hope this works for you. Another thing. Make sure your bio settings are set to start with Disc first. Not your hard drive. That may be one reason your dvd isn't working. I'm not sure what number on your computer it is to get to your bio's. I do know it will be one of your F's example F1 F2 and so on. Just reboot your computer. As SOON as it starts up again click on the F key ...I want to say it's F8 but i'm not sure. If your bios don't come up because you clicked the wrong F key. start again until the bios do come up. once up ....find "boot sequence" you want to make sure you set your cd/dvd as boot option 1. You should be able to put your disc in then for vista and go back to it. If you need more help. Let me know.
