    Yes, another thread -HDMI to HDMI from PC to TV - no sound- however my default device is my HDMI( under playback devices - I have the green checkmark and when I click on the speaker icon it show the green bars moving) still no sound. I have tryed everything - installed drivers - changed the setting on my TV - nothing Nada zip!!! Brand spanking new computer - just bought it yesterday -

    AMD Athlon X2240
    AMD 780G Chipset

    Toshiba 50hm66 TV - any help would be appreciated - the store I purchased it from is looking for a fix - but could be a few days.

    gandt4811, welcome to the forums.

    Would be nice if you could post what the fix was, but I am guessing that it involved going into the bios and enabling the "AMD 780 HD Audio".
