No "windows sounds" under sound mixer

Hi, my windows 7 sound has been too loud, anything above 25 is starting to get rather loud. Ive looked around on google etc and found that the "Windows Sounds" slider is meant to be the equivilent to the old XP "wave" slider. However, my sound mixer doesnt have it. I asked a friend and they said that they had it on their mixer, but the only difference between us really is that hes using ultimate 32 bit and im using professional 64bit.

If anyone knows how to adjust/show the windows sound slider, id be greatly appreciative if you would share that knowledge
