    Audio Issues, what a headache

    Howdy folks,

I recently installed Windows 7 on the Wife's computer and the Audio is all buggered.
Windows managed to update her HDMI Audio driver's but for the life of me I cannot find/get the drivers for the (PnP) Audio to work again.

She prefers the (PnP) because it lets her use the front Audio jacks as well less hassle.

I downloaded the recent Realtek audio driver's, but they install and nothing happens when I restart. Devices still show the HDMI Audio device.

I tryed going to the Intel website to try and find an Audio driver but no luck.

Plug the device in, then click on sound in the control panel. Does it show as an option to set it as 'default'? What does it say in "properties"?

You may need to start it in 'Services"
