    USB Audio problems Jabra 9350

    Hi Guys,

I have installed Windows 7, and my Jabra 9350 which is a USB AUDIO headset not working. Windows 7 is not recognizing it at all,
I searched the internet alot and tried to replace the "Windows XP" usbaudio.sys with the one on my new computer but still it is not working. Is there any hotfix or generic driver that can solve the AUDIO USB issue.

I would really appriciate your help in this matter.

    Hi preposters and others,

did you solve your problems with GN 9350 under Win 7?

I did not. It has not been recognized and the device manager reports 'unknown device' Additionally a firmware update is impossible, because it is not in the list of 'Jabra Device Service'.

Any other suggestions than toss it away?

    Thanks,
    c.

My device is installed and works fine for making calls via OCS

I have a separate issue. I need to be able to use the headset for calls as well as hear all system sounds and listen to audio from a number of other sources (WMP, web browser, itunes, etc.). The only way I could find to this, I disabled my other speakers (from the control panel) so that the only speaker enabled was the one on the headset. This worked okay – but I quickly ran into two issues. In windows media player, I would begin a song but when I would open up another window, to begin working, It would stop playing. So, I’d bring WMP to the front and begin to play the song again…I could do this several times until I ran into my second issue: the song wouldn’t play again, and I think all sound quit working. To remedy this, I would disable the headset earphone and then re-enable it and it would work again – although as soon as I would bring a window other than WMP to the front, the music would stop playing.

Clearly this isn’t functional. I need to be able to hear all system sounds whether I'm on a call or not, and When I'm not on a call, I need to be able to listen to audio from other sources (WMP, web browser, itunes, etc.)

    Please help!

USB hub plugs into one USB port on the computer and provides four or more shared ports for peripherals. Monitors and keyboards may also have built in hubs, which offer convenient sockets on top of the desk for connecting devices.wilson amplifiers | wilson signal booster
