How to get Windows 7 to work with Nero 9+X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro with an external decoder

I thought this write-up might help some Seven Forum members who may have the same PC home theatre setup or a similar set-up, so you get the maximum pleasure of listening to music (in 24-bit), or movies (5.1/7.1/DTS/DTS HD Master Audio) in the best possible sound quality.

Specs below with their respective links (and drivers that work).

OS: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Software: Nero 9 full version 9.4.26.0 (*plug-ins installed)
*Gracenote Plug-in
*Blu-Ray Disc Authoring Plug-in
*DTS Plug-in
*mp3PRO Plug-in

Sound card: X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series 7.1 (used Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Series Daniel_K Support Pack 2.0) posted 05/22/09 they work with Windows Vista/7 x32/x64

Updated (from Creative's site) ALchemy ver1.41.00*6 Jan 2010/SoundFont Bank Manager ver3.21.02*11 Dec 09/Console Launcher ver2.16.35*19 Aug 09, i didn't need their updated driver 2.17.0007 as it has caused me more problems, and headaches than intended.

External Decoder: Pioneer VSX-9130THX 7.1 (decodes 5.1/7.1/Dolby TrueHD/dtsHD Master Audio)

Overall after several hrs of tweaking options, in the end, it was so worth it.
