Another SoundMax Thread
Hey everybody. I have read several other Soundmax threads with no luck Here is my issue. I upgraded my Dell GX620 to Windows 7 yesterday. everything is prefect excpet the audio. In my device manager I find I have a "Sound Max Integrated Digital Audio Device" installed. I am assuming this is default for my Dell model, or for Windows 7?
I have tested the audio settings and all of the audio meters light up as if sound is playing, but there is no audio. I have unplugged/ replugged the speakers, tried, headphones, etc. And of course the speakers worked up until the upgrade so I dont think it is hardware related.
When I go to update drivers it tells me all drivers are up to date. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations.
