No Sound HDMI Sony Viao-Sony has no intel chipset?

I have been waiting for Sony to release a chip set for their Viao VGN 270 with no word as to when. I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and LOST the audio via HDMI. I have tried every Sony upgrade and nothing works. It is reltec sound card which is really Intel but is manufacture specific. Does any one have a fix around SONY?

Have you tried going to the Sony support and tried using the unlocked drivers? It might be worth a try.

    This is what I found:
Unlocked drivers are provided for Sony VAIO computer business models only. They are intended for use by MIS and Network professionals. The functionality of these files may vary by environment. These files are to be used only at your own risk. Support is limited and provided at Sony's discretion.

    Attached is a screen shot.

    Thanks,

Have you tried the regular Sony Windows 7 update site? Sony eSupport - Computers - Notebook - Select Your Model

I have downloaded all the Audio driver updates, but did not work/change. I have found that there is NO Sigmatel, as it is manufacture specific. I have called Sony many times and they tell me to wait. I have even tried Video driver updates...nothing. (It worked flawlessly under VISTA) Looking for a way around using Sigmatel?
    Thanks
