problem with my keyboard volume controls
ive got a logitech G11 (newest drivers installed) realtek hd audio, running on Windows 7 ultimate over spdif.
my play/stop/forward/back/mute keyboard keys all work just fine, but im having issues with the volume control.
i keep my system volume at 50%, and i adjust winamp anywhere from 0-100%. the problem is when i use the keyboards volume control, it changes my windows master volume along with the winamp volume, which really screws me if i want to change music volume levels when im in a game.
is there any way to disable changing my master volume with the keyboard, and let it only take control of what ever media player i have running? i know it used to work just fine on XP.
just found out how to fix this. had to create a custom volume hotkey inside winamp, and disable standard multimedia key controls inside winamp.
