    Hello Mie333,

To adjust the balance, go to Control Panel>Sound and right-click on Headphones. Hit Properties, and under the Levels tab, you will find Balance.

    Hope this helps,

Go ahead and click on Speakers, rather than headphones. I should have anticipated that in my last post.

Have you tried a System Restore to a point before the trouble started?

With the above, you can goto DM, disable the audio device, restart and re-enable it if it doesnt automatically and check. Stil not fixed?
Goto DM again, uninstall, restart and once the card gets detected, allows windows to select the right drivers and check.
If u dnt hv a driver CD with u, pls dont try the last method.
