How to kill the sound from another logged on Acount

I have several accounts for different family members but whenever I log in to my account(admin) to watch a movie I can't hear because of the sound playing from the other users logged on. The only way I can get it to turn off is to switch to the other user account, kill what ever is using sound and then switch back to my account.

Is there a way to, other than getting everyone to log off, to keep the audio from one logged on user from playing through other logged on user accounts?
