Windows 7 - Why I don't have pop up when device plugged in?

| | Why I don't have pop up when device plugged in? Ever since I bought my new rig I've been wondering why I don't have pop up window when I plug in something. Screenshot in attachment shows what I mean. Its marked to do so, but no pop up ever appears. Any ideas, fixes anything would be helpful. |

| | Have you checked recently for an updated driver from the manufaturer of your sound card or mobo (if integrated on mobo)??? |

| | Yup, no help there. My roomate has Gigabyte's motherboard 775 socket and the same audio manager interface as mine and he's got the pop up working quite nicely. |

| | Its the rear panels and I've rearranged the outputs myself, but each time I install new drivers I don't wanna import the settings over and over again, I just want the simple pop-up thing to work. |
