how to use SPEAKERS and HEADPHONES at the SAME TIME!?!?

I want to use the speakers and headphones at the same time, without the need to plug and unplug the wires!
My motherboard is Asus M2N. Im using windows 7 wich automatically installs the sound driver. I tried to install the driver wich came on the cd with my motherboard, and with the soundmax driver i could hear sound coming from both speakers and headphones.(my speakers are pluged in the rear jack, i have 2 front jacks for speakers/headphones and for the mic).
the PROBLEM is... soundmax (for my motherboard) is not compatible with Windows 7, and i have problems with that. quite often my speakers make a pop sound, and when i leave the pc for a while and then I want to hear some music the first 10-20 sec the sound is very "unclear"...it is annoying!!

is there any other(software)way to use the speakers and headphones at the same time???

it doesn't have to be sound on both at the same time , i would also be satfied if I must choose/select wich is my primary audio output device!!
