    Music Sound Cards?

What music sound cards support W7 (64bit)?

I heard M-Audio doesn't support and has alot of problems.

I'm looking to invest in one, but something that supports W7 and works great. Price range around $200-300 AUD. Anyone know what is good?

I've successfully used an M-Audio "Audiophile" 24/96 stereo PCI card as well as an RME 8 in/out PCI card under Windows-7.

M-Audio does have Win-7 drivers for the Delta series (this includes the Audiophile).
I see that even Microsoft Win-7 has built in drivers for the Delta series of audio cards.

RME's drivers are so good they seem to work well under any version of Windows.

Be warned, Win-7 does take some optimizing.

What DAW software are you planning to run? M-Audio works best with Pro Tools. It has some interface problems with Sonar.

Have you examined the Echo Audio equipment? Layla3G and Gina3G? Not cheap, but definitely pro quality audio recording/playback. MiaMidi is less expensive.

    All have Win7 32/64 support.
