Windows 7 - No Audio, Driver Problem

Hi,
Recently I had a mishap with the Creative X-FI driver 7-30-2009 update, and I can no longer hear sound in Windows 7. As a result from this, most of my audio drivers/Creative X-Fi programs ended up deleted. At that point, I tried to uninstall my audio card from device manager and restart to get the original, default drivers back. However, this ended up making my card (X-Fi Titanium) unrecognized by device manager. I attempted to reinstall the 7-30 update but it ended up blue-screening my computer. I system restored, and luckily most, if not all the drivers and programs are back. Is it safe to try to reinstall the audio card via device manager again? If not, is there a better, safer way to get the sound working again?

Uninstall all your Creative drivers download Guru3D - Driver Sweeper (Setup) download from Guru3D.com clean the creative drivers, restart the computer and try installing it agian, If it blue screens agian its a hardware problem with your sound card.

Also, try just installing the drivers and not installing the extras such as Alchemy.

Alright, well, it didn't bluescreen. But it appears as though the drivers didn't update - the driver date states 4-20-2009 instead of 7-30-2009.

Never mind, I've updated it again and now it states it's from July.
