Windows 7: supreme fx 11 drivers

i cant seem to find any drivers for my sound card(one that came supplied with the mobo), its a supreme fxII ,i've tried drivers for XP and vista in compatibility mode but all i get is the error "does not support this operating system:WNT_6.1P_64_MCE"
i have a
ASUS p5n32-e sli plus motherboard
intel Q6600 2.4 quad core cpu
geforce 9500 gt 1gb graphic cards
4gb ram
running windows 7 ultimate

can someone help please.................no sound is doing my head in

Not the same motherboard but it has the same SupremeFX audio on it, and should work just as well on yours. Go here,

and using the drop down menus look for the Rampage Extreme as it has received an updated driver for that sound card for Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit).

thanks stormy i downloaded what you suggested, now i'm getting a error "your hardware does not support the software"

Just had a look at the INF's for both the one you downloaded and the last one for your, and there is only one DevID listed in the updated driver. That's why it won't work (good old Asus, provide updates for the newest, but not the slightly older that uses the same drivers).

Anyway just had a quick look on the Asus forum for your motherboard and found this,

that also has a download link for the Soundmax driver. May or may not work, but worth a try.

it seems i was mis-informed , my mobo doesnt come with the supreme fxII,after contacting asus themselves i was informed it came with supreme fx sound card,i ordered one,received it and installed it,and they link to the drivers you put up stormy worked a treat thank you

you have "X-Fi" software for this chip few posts down.
