Windows 7 - Record what you hear; a new problem

| | Record what you hear; a new problem Hey 7forum lovers! A couple of months ago i managed to do the record what you hear thing on windows 7 but afterwards was forced to format my C:/ and reinstall windows 7. I didnt do the re-installing myself but my computer manufacturer did. Now, when i click on "show disabled harware" or whatever it was, i do not have the record what you hear thing. No hardware has changed. Thanks everyone. |

First check the driver by going into device manager (type device manager in search). go to the audio tab and make sure your driver is listed and does not have a yellow triangle on it. Let us know the results Ken |

| | Which do you have, an Integrated Audio system (e.g. RealTek or IDT) or do you have a SoundBlaster sound card? "What You Hear" is what SoundBlaster calls "System Mixer". Thus if you have Integrated Audio you should be looking for "System Mixer". |
