Installed sound themes are OK; not so if I modify
I've been trying to change some of my sounds (Windows 7 HP machine) and found that they won't work.
If I change a theme, the installed sounds are OK.
If I try to change one of the sounds and replace it with one from a directory where I keep .wav files, they will not play.
I've tried re-naming the theme directory to something different; no luck.
I've even tried replacing the existing themed .wav file (located in the Windows/media directory) with one of my files but it denies me permissions.
Anyone have any idea what may be wrong?
Is there a "permission switch" I've overlooked?
