| | Creative X-fi Extreme music Hi there! I got a hold of the Windows 7 RC (x64) Build 7100 yesterday and since then have tried many different drivers with no result. At first when i reboot my computer i get a pretty bad sound at startup when i play a mp3 song or open a vidoe but the sound tottaly dissapears after 3-5seconds to never come back again untill a new reboot. Anyone mind helping me that have got things to work out with the same card? Got a nforce 430 motherboard if that does any good. cheers. |

| | Had problems with my creative X-fi Extreme as well. Follow the link to get the new creative beta driver for windows 7 and install it (remove old drivers first) Creative Worldwide Support It should do the trick |

| | Extreme audio and extreme Music arent the same cards. that driver dont work for me. |

| | Have you tried Daniel_K's drivers? Forgive my stupidity if those drivers are made for previous creative audio cards.. Or youp-PAX modded X-FI drivers? They look to be quite good. |
