Bios disables Realtek HD on wake from sleep

This seem to happen after hybrid sleep mode. (As also earlier
with regular sleep or hibernation mode). Re-enabling in bios
cures the problem. Sound performance as good as can be for
built-in audio. (Will try the latest realtek driver set, although
windows reports that PC is currently up to date).

    Sound familiar to anyone?

Try to reinstall your chipset driver first.
If that doesn't work then check the the hybrid sleep mode settings, I have read it causes some problems.

The R249 is in now. Will have to go through a few
    sleep 'cycles' to verify. Thanks.

After a few sleep cycles, no further problems.
Now, to get my trust tablet to remember it's
    actually installed!

    Thanks geeve.

Your welcome, that's what we do here :) If you haven't yet, you might start a new thread for your Trust Tablet issue.

So much for that. It doesn't survive
restarts. Back to a dedicated sound card.
Strange. The release candidate* was so
much better with many devices. Oh well.

R 2.50 is holding up so far.

*(I should have said that the RC was the
    x86 version).
