Complete the system specs and then go to altec for latest drivers that are compatible with windows 7.
What version of Windows 7 and 32/64bit?

Unless your speakers are USB, they do not need drivers of any kind; what does need a driver is the sound card.

The Howling Wolves that driver utility you linked to despite all the different fancy names they have given them all (there is a Canon one, one for Lexmark, etc), are nothing more than this,

    http://www.drivershq.com/

which is another one of those that likes to charge (in their case $30.00) to be able to download what is free from the hardware/computer manufacturers; just need to know where to look.

    Drivers for Sound Devices
They say it's free but probably just the scan for the driver you need and then charge you.
Be back in a minute as I continue to search for you.
