    No sound from built in speakers, but sound from headphones


    I have a Lenovo S10-3 Netbook, running on Win7 starter.

    It has been running fine unil a few days ago, when the built in speakers no longer play any sound. Works fine with earphones or exernal speakers, but not internal speakers.

    Drivers are all up to date, and audio/sound settings are all set to full.

    And according to the speaker and sound card 'properties' - "This device is working properly."

    What can i do?

    Do you get sound with the external speakers unplugged?? Usually laptops will disable the built in speakers while external speakers are being used...

    Nope. nothing plugged in. no headphones or external speakers. Volume turned up full on audio settings and on netbook itself.

    Still no sound

    Delete the sound card in Device Manager, reboot, let Windows reinstall the drivers and see if that helps.
