Congratulations! You just won!
I keep getting these "You just won" audio messages at random, every few minute or so. It's only started today. What can I do to make them stop?

You either visted an iffy site or dl'd something with a key logger, maybe a little more info would help with some solutions
What anitvirus software are you using? Sounds like you picked up some kind of malware or spyware, virus, some kind of hitchiker. I'd suggest running Malwarebytes or use your virus scanner to see. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ or spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html Fabe
I use Avast.
I don't know if this website is reliable or not, but it mentioned that, if a key logger was in place on my computer, it should show up in my task manager's process tab.
Do any of these look suspicious?

I just did a scan with Malwarebytes and got the following results.

...And from the scan log...
I removed the registry item in question. Is there anything else I should do?Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46

why does everyone scan with those antiviruses? theres a thing called hitman pro you know, it uses 5 antivirus engines almost nothing can get passed it
Home - SurfRight
Just as an update, as I already said, Malwarebytes found the infection and destroyed it. Hitman didn't find anything new.
On my dad's computer, however, the two programs found somewhere around 260 infections. Apparently, he didn't install any new antivirus software after he deleted McAfee.
ummm.....Hijack.StartMenu is innocuous in all probability....you must have disabled some startup prog. and mbam is quick to flag that .Its the .exe's/.dll's that should cause concern
