    Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

I just bought this and was wondering if I needed/should disable Windows Defender and Windows Firewall so they don't interfere with each other.

KIS 2011 has a two-way firewall feature. Upon installation, Windows Firewall will be disabled automatically.

If you have installed KIS 2011 but Windows Firewall is still turned on, I would suggest that you turn it OFF. Windows Defender should be turned off too.

    hi.........
1.firewall-only one should be used....KIS 2011 would disable the win 7 firewall during installation itself.
2.windows defender can be run alongside Kaspersky Internet Security without hitch...if you need extra protection...i am running kis 2011+prevx+WD without any issue at all....
