| | How to make outpost firewall (free) work in W7 ! hi ! how to do it: run the *INSTALLATION* in compatibility-mode for Vista SP1. i´m running it now, looks OK so far, no errormessages yet... i´ve tested it with Gibsons "Security test", and "Leaktest", and it passed. https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 Last edited by hackerman1; 05-17-2009 at 05:21 PM.. |

| | hi ! i´ve tested it with Gibsons "Security test", and "Leaktest", and it passed. https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 i have been running tests for the last couple of hours, i have tested it with Comodos "Leaktests", and after making some small adjustments it´s now almost "waterproof". http://download.comodo.com/securitytests/All_tests.zip now i have 2 leak-problems left to fix. i also tested Comodos own (free) firewall with their "Leaktest-package", and it had more leaks, (4 or 5) cant´t remember now, i´m tired... it got 300 (290 ?) out of 340 points. | Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1 | Windows 8 build 7989 | Hmmm - I have a license for Outpost Paid version as an admin from another forum - I might try it out on Win 7 in a Virtual Machine.... Thanks for the info. |

| | hi ! YES ! it works, read my posting: "how to do it: run the *INSTALLATION* in compatibility-mode for Vista SP1" have you done that ? are you using Windows 7 RC ? i don´t know if it works with Windows 7 beta. |
