    Norton deleted Minefield

Hey guys, I have another odd problem. I was updating Minefield to the latest nightly, and restarted it. Then, Norton flashes a small pop-up at the bottom of the screen saying it removed firefox.exe from C:\Program Files\Minefield\firefox.exe. It said it was acting suspicious....

Any thoughts as to why this happened?

    Time to lose Norton.

If its a false positive, you can always to to the Quarantine folder and restore minefield.

You are running Beta software. Apparently something in the nightly was detected as suspicious. I suggest looking at the Minefield change logs and submitting a report to the Firefox developers.

Ok, thanks everyone. I forgot I could just remove it from quarantine, so I did. I also blocked it from future scans, so it should never happen again.

    Minefield

I would remove norton too, lost many programs/betas due to it.

Plus it slows down load times when you get to your desktop, and IE,FF and google, it is for safety reasons but it feels like its hogging your system

I removed mine and speed up was instant

If you do remove it remember to use the norton removal tool
